Hello guys. So, the top image? That’s the album art for Point Of Fracture, the new album from my band, Hypertension. Why should you buy it? Well, it’s eleven tracks of electro goodness, Scottish accents and witty banter. Not only that, but you’ve got two singers - myself (Fran Murphy), and Mark Barry. Mark’s voice is smooth and seductive, while mine is strong and rough. And you know what? We sing about things that you care about: social media, relationships, frustration with the fairer sex, the economic crisis, the politics of going to nightclubs. We write and sing about the things we think about - the things we live through. Whether those things are silly and funny, or serious and upsetting, we address them. And why not? It’s high time someone sang about something other than sex or depression.
So, have I convinced you yet? If not, these facts may convince you: the album is $9, which ain’t a bad price really for eleven tracks lovingly produced by two devastatingly handsome Scottish men. (Cough.) Secondly, if you’re still unsure, there are track previews on the link page.
So, you’ve decided to buy. What now? Well, if you could like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, etc., that would be great. Make yourself known to us. Reblog this post. Share it with your friends.
Let’s prove to the marketing people that you don’t have to be rich or sell your soul to be a success in today’s world.
Thanks and much love,
